Dance Showcase
Grand Avenue has enjoyed many end of year celebrations. The collections of photos are from our recent Dance Showcase and Awards Ceremony.
The dance evening was an explosion of colour and movement. The students performed with high energy, despite the heat. A huge thank you to the staff who give up many hours to rehearse and co-ordinate such events.
Awards Ceremony
The Awards Ceremony celebrated the academic achievements of students across the school with students either being awarded a bronze, silver or gold award.
STAR students were also recognised for their demonstration of our STAR values.
OSHC also presented awards to students who upheld the values of the OSHC community.

Choir News
The Grand Avenue State School Christmas Choir recently performed at the Forest Lake Community Carols event on December 2nd. The singers, 7 to 12 years old, performed a mix of religious, traditional and holiday songs. They had a lot of fun singing together and are already looking forward to next year's concert.
